(2) IP Phone: This is a specially designed phone that looks like traditional telephone with buttons, cradles and handset. But additionally these phones have Ethernet connectors that can be connected directly to the router. It has an inbuilt hardware and software to handle the IP calls. Some of the additional features available in this telephone are call waiting, call forwarding, voice mail, three way calling and caller Id This type of IP phones are mostly used in offices and for business purposes.

(3) Computer to Computer: It is a method of communication between two PC's irrespective of the location. You need a broadband internet connection, a software, sound card, microphone, internet connection and speakers. Cheap calls to Germany and all over the world can be made from PC to landline and mobile phones using this method. This is a cheap method and you have to pay only for the internet service provider.
